Introduction to Coffee provides students with a comprehensive overview of the entire supply chain of coffee; from the seed to the brewed cup and is the back. This is a SCA Coffee Skills Program course and is the most comprehensive 1-day course one can take in the industry. In Introduction to Coffee students develop a common verbal and sensory vocabulary that forms the backbone of the Roaster, Coffee Buyer, Coffee Sensory, Brewing, and Barista Coffee Skills Programs.
The SCA Barista Coffee Program Certificate provides world-recognized instruction in espresso and milk preparation. Learn the practical skills you need behind the espresso bar: how to set your grinder, milk techniques, health and safety, customer service, and more. Both Barista Foundations and Barista Intermediate are offered.
