**CANCELLED**CB200 explores in detail the financial, time, and quality implications at each stage in the green coffee supply chain from the time coffee might be contracted: coffee cherry to consuming country warehouse. Roasters are introduced to the definition, history & professional concepts behind managing the flow of coffee from seed to cup. This class is an online prerequisite for all CB200 level classes. Instructions picks up where farming and processing leave off and where arrival at the roasting facility begins.

Instructor: Rob Stephen. Rob Stephen is a Green Coffee Trader & International Business Development Manager for Olam Specialty Coffee in White Plains, New York. He is a certified Q Grader and a Q Grader Instructor with 25 years of experience at all levels of the coffee industry. His background includes positions at several nationally known coffee companies, and he founded Coffee Solutions, a consulting and training firm, in 2003. He is a Past President of the SCA and of Coffee Kids, and represents the USA at the ISO council on international coffee standards (TC34:SC15). Specializing in quality standards development and supply chain optimization, he has lectured extensively at coffee events and trade shows around the world, and conducts training sessions regularly for the SCA and the Coffee Quality Institute.
